Log Books

Last year, on September 1st, 2009, there were changes to the WorkCover regulations concerning High Risk work areas such as Forklift operation. Note that the old WorkCover Logbook System is no longer valid… Completing the course, TLILIC108A Licence to Operate a Forklift Truck, is now the only way to obtain an LF Forklift licence.

  • The new WorkCover regulations state that logbooks can only be used while the driver is actually enrolled in the course TLILIC108A Licence to Operate a Forklift Truck
  • The only logbooks that can be used must be issued by the Registered Training Organisation (RTO)
  • The RTO must be specifically accredited, by NTIS/VETAB/WorkCover, to run TLILIC108A Licence to Operate a Forklift Truck.
  • WorkCover regulations state that every session of logbook driving must be fully described, directly supervised and signed off by a licenced forklift driver.

Forklift Training with CHWA

To give the best training possible we aim to keep our groups to a maximum of 6 people. Small groups enable our standard course to be made up of three half day sessions, generally run on two consecutive  days, which cover theory, practical and assessment.

  • CHWA are prepared to run courses at mutually convenient times where enough interest is shown.
  • Please phone us at any time if you have any queries or requests.
