Coffs Harbour Workplace Assessments (CHWA) became an RTO in 2007 and is the leading vehicle training institute on the north coast of NSW specialising in Competency Based Training and Assessment for heavy vehicle driver licensing. CHWA started trading as Commercial Driver Training in 1996 with an overall emphasis on practical driving skills and road safety. The focus has always been on safety - SAFE drivers for NSW roads, SAFE workers for employers, SAFE workmates.
Our heavy vehicle driving instructors and assessors are RTA accredited to instruct and assess clients from LR to HC and are qualified to train VETAB accredited driving courses.
- All truck driver training courses are carried out on public roads and on a one-to-one basis
- CHWA can provide an MR or HR vehicle
- Clients also qualify for nationally recognized TLI10 modules
- CHWA can provide other specialised courses to suit your particular requirements
CHWA is also accredited by ASQA and WorkCover NSW to train LF forklift drivers (TLICLIC2001A Licence to drive a forklift truck) and runs frequent courses at the air conditioned CHWA Woolgoolga Training Centre.
